R-1747 and R-1748 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October-14, 1940 On August 23, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued .its Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled pro- ceedings.) Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, separate elections by secret ballot were conducted on September 20, 1940, under the di- rection and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourteenth Region (St. Louis, Missouri) and the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City), respectively.
