Case No. R-1770 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES June 14,' 1940 On April 23, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceedings.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 22, 1940, under the Direction and Supervision of the Regional Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianapolis, Indiana). On May 23, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of Na-, tional Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report had been filed by any of the parties. The Regional Director reported the following results of the balloting : Total number eligible to vote________________________________ 301 Total number voting ------------------------------ ----------- 288 Total number of valid votes cast_____________________________ 274 Total number of votes for the Federal Labor Union 22174 , affiliated with the A. W. O. C.), affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated . and selected by a majority of all production and main- tenance employees of Ingram-Richardson Mfg. Company of Indiana, Inc., Frankfort , Indiana, exclusive of `truck drivers , clerical em- ployees, and - supervisory employees , ' as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining , and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Amalgamated Association of Iron, Steel & Tin Workers of North America, Lodge No. 1774 (S.- W. O. C.), affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations , is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay , wages, hours . of employment , and other conditions of employment.
