Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on March 29, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourth Region (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). On April 1, 1940, the Re- gional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties hereto an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 68. 959 960 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that United Saw, File, and Steel Products Workers of America, Local No. 22254, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a major- ity of all of the hourly paid and piece-work employees in the produc- tion and maintenance departments of Henry Disston & Sons, Incor- porated, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the exception of carpen- ters, bricklayers, truck drivers, office employees, and supervisory em- ployees, down through and including working group leaders, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Saw, File, and Steel Products Workers of America, Local No. 22254, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bar- gaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
