Case No. R-1914 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES September 16, 1940 On July 31, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the' BOard,' issued its Decision- and- Direction of Election in the above- entitled proceeding? Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an elec- tion by secret ballot was conducted on August 29, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourth Region (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). On August 30, 1940, the Re- gional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the,parties. I. 0. has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees in the plants of Gettys- burg Furniture Co., Gettysburg Panel Co., and Reaser Furniture Co., Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, including inside truck drivers, shipping department, receiving department, and watchmen, excluding subf ore- men, foremen, supervisors, office and clerical employees, and manage- ment, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant. to Section 9 (a) of the Act, United Furniture Workers of America, Local 464, C. I. 0., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in re- spect to rates of pay, wages, hours-of employment, and other conditions of employment.
