R-1814 and R-1815 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October 5, 1940 On August 23, 1940, the National Labor Relations,Board issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceed- ings.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, separate elections by secret ballot were conducted on September 12, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Washington). On September 17, 1940, the Regional Direc- tor, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Rela- tions Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and • duly served upon the parties to the respective proceedings separate Election Reports. No objections to the conduct of the ballots or the Election Reports have been filed by any of the parties. L. Johansen and Donald L. McKinney, employed by Crown Zellerbach Corporation, Crown Willamette Paper Company Division, Clatsop County, Oregon, at its Lewis and Clark operations as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Boommen and Rafters Local #68, chartered by the International Woodworkers of America, C. I. 0., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Boommen and Rafters Local #68 has been designated and selected by a majority of all boommen and rafters, including Edward Haikura and William Lindgren, employed by Tide- water Timber Company, Olney, Oregon as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Boommen and Rafters-Local #68, chartered by the international Woodworkers of America, C. I. 0., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
