CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
August 6, 19410
On July 3, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein
called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in
the above-entitled proceedings,' wherein it directed that an election
by secret ballot be conducted among employees of Corona Citrus
Association, Corona, California, herein called the Company, pro-
vided, however, that Corona Citrus Workers Industrial Union,
Local #342 of the United Cannery, Agricultural, Packing and Allied
Workers of America, C. I. 0., herein called the Union, file herein a
certain statement in substance and effect as there stated. On July 15,
1940, the Union filed such a statement, a copy of which was duly
served upon the Company. Pursuant to the Direction an election
by secret ballot was held on July 22, 1940. On July 23, 1940, the
Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of
National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2,
as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election
Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election
Report have been filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and its results the Regional Director reported
as follows:

Since a counting of the challenged ballot could not affect the results
of the election, the ballot will not be opened or counted.
By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National
Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor
Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8
and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-
Series 2, as amended,
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Corona Citrus Workers Industrial
Union, Local #342 of the United Cannery, Agricultural, Packing
and Allied Workers of America, C. I. 0., has been designated and
selected by a majority of all production employees of Corona Citrus
Association, Corona, California, employed in processing, grading,
packing and shipping products of the Company, and all maintenance
employees wherever located, including receivers, general floor laborers,
graders, packers, lidders, tally girls, box makers, mechanics, and
the assistant bookkeeper, but excluding officials of the Company,
supervisory employees, employees having the right to hire and/or
fire, and clerical employees wherever located, as their representa-
tive for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant
to, Section 9 (a) of the Act, Corona Citrus Workers Industrial
Union, Local #342 of the United Cannery, Agricultural, Packing
and Allied Workers of America, C. 1. 0., is the exclusive representative
of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with
respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other condi-
tions of employment.
MR. WILLIAM M. LEISERSON took no part in the consideration of the
above Certification of Representatives.
