California Wool Scouring Co.Download PDFNational Labor Relations Board - Board DecisionsMar 21, 19386 N.L.R.B. 101 (N.L.R.B. 1938) Copy Citation In the Matter of CALIFORNIA WOOL SCOURING COMPANY and TEXTILE WORKERS ORGANIZING COMMITTEE Case No. B-447 AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION March 21, 1928 On March 4, 1938, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 In the above-entitled proceeding, the election to be held among employees of California WooloScouring Company, San Francisco, California, herein called the Company, within twenty (20) days from the date of the Direction, under the supervision of the Regional Director for the Twentieth Region (San Francisco,' California). Textile Workers Organizing Committee has requested that the election be postponed. The Regional Director has advised the Board that the Company has indefinitely suspended operation of its plant and that a representative vote cannot be obtained at this time inasmuch as the employees are scattered. We shall, therefore, postpone the election for the present. The Board hereby amends its Direction of Election by striking therefrom the words "within twenty (20) days from the date of this Direction" and substituting ,therefor the words "at such time as the Board will in the future direct." 15 N.
