CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
July 3, 1940
On May 29, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein
called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the
above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election,
an election by secret ballot was conducted on June 14, 1940, under
the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second
Region (New York City). On June 20, 1940, the Regional Director,
acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations
Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and
directly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot.
No exceptions to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report
have been filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported
as follows :

as amended,
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Employees Mutual Benefit Association
of Brillo Manufacturing Company, Inc., .has been designated and

selected by a majority of the production and maintenance employees
of Brillo Manufacturing Company, Inc., Brooklyn, New York, ex-
cluding watchmen , plant protectors , foreman, assistant foremen,
supervisory employees , superintendents , clerical employees, and em-
ployees in the sales and shipping departments , as their representative
for the purposes of collective bargaining , and that, pursuant to Sec-
tion 9 (a) of the Act, Employees Mutual Benefit Association of Brillo
Manufacturing Company, Inc., is the exclusive representative of all
such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect
to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment , and other conditions of
employment.
