Pursuant to 'the Direction of Elec- tion, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 8, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional 'Director for the Twelfth Region (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). -On August 12,1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the results of the balloting, the Regional Director reported as follows : - Number of employees eligible to vote------------------------- 95 Total number of ballots east------------------- ------------- 90 Number of votes counted----------------------------------'- 90 Number of votes for United Condensery Workers of United Cannery, Agricultural, Packing & Allied Workers of Amer- ica, Local 24, C. L---------------------------------------- 1 Number of votes for neither organization-------------------- 48 Number of blank ballots------------------------------------ 0 Number of void ballots-------------------------------------- 0 Number of challenged ballots-------------------------------- 0 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining representative has been selected by a majority of the,employees.
