Case No. R-1820 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES June 25, 1940 On May 17, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding., Pursuant to the Direction of Election an election by secret' ballot was conducted on June 6, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illi- nois). On June 10, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 102. 975 976 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD all hourly paid and piece-work production and maintenance em= ployees of Armour and Company, Chicago, Illinois, engaged in the repair, maintenance, and building of railroad and refrigerator. cars at the Company's Chicago, Illinois, car shops, excluding foremen, supervisory employees, watchmen, and clerical and office employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Packinghouse Workers of America, Local Industrial Union No. 347, of Packinghouse Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the'Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive repre- sentative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargain- ing with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
