CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
March 26, 1940
On February 16, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued
a Second Amendment to and Supplemental Direction of Election in
this proceeding., Pursuant to the Supplemental Direction of Elec-
tion, an election by secret ballot was conducted on March 9, 1940,
under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the
Fourteenth Region (St. Louis, Missouri). On March 11, 1940, the
Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of
National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2,
as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly
served on the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or
the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties.
As to the results of the balloting, the Regional Director reported
as follows :

Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Re-
lations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and
9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series
2, as amended,

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Litchfield Radiator Workers Associa-
tion has been designated and selected by a majority of the production
and maintenance employees of American Radiator & Standard Sani-
tary Corporation, at its plant at Litchfield, Illinois, including ship-
ping-room employees, janitors, and charwomen, but excluding super-
visory, office, and salaried employees, and watchmen who also have
the status of deputy sheriffs, as their representative for the purposes
of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the
Act, Litchfield Radiator Workers Association is the exclusive repre-
sentative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bar-
gaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment,
and other conditions of employment.
MR. WILLIAM M. LEISERSON took no part in the consideration of
the above Certification of Representatives.
