C-683 and R-730 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES January 16, 1940 On November 30, 1939 , the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board , issued a Supplemental Direction of Election 1 and on December 19, 1939, the Board issued an Order and Amendment to Sup- plemental Direction of Election ? in the above -entitled case . Pursuant to the Supplemental Direction of Election , as amended , an election by secret ballot was conducted on December 28, 1939, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City ). On December 29, 1939, the Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 57. 530 AMER'ICAN MACH•IN:E AND FOUNDRY COMPANY 531 IT Is HERESY CERTIFIED that Employees' Association of the American Machine and Foundry Company has been designated and selected by a majority of the hourly paid production, maintenance, receiving, and shipping employees, store clerks, and inspectors having no supervisory duties over other inspectors, employed in Brooklyn, New York, by American Machine and Foundry Company, Brooklyn, New York, but excluding supervisory and clerical employees, foremen, assistant fore- men, inspectors who direct the work of other inspectors, technicians, engineers , draftsmen, watchmen, timekeepers, and rest-room matron, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Employees' Association of the American Machine and Foundry Com- pany is the exclusive representative of all.such employees for the pur- poses of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
