Case No. R-2075 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES November 29,19.40, On October 31, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in this proceeding Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on November 14, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Re- 'gional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On November 16, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National'Labor Relations Board Rules and Regula- tions-Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 34 174' AMERICAN LADY CORSET COMPANY 175 'IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, Local No. 318, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of the employees of American Lady Corset Company, Detroit, Michigan, in the following classifications : stitching, seaming, binding, talons, zigzag stitching, lace stitching, brassiere stitching, stripper, marking and stamping, embroidery, patterns, short chasers, checkers, repairs, hooks and eyes, folding, cutters, marking, lay-up cloth, cloth stock, production helper, labels, backs, shipping room, boning, errands, faggoting, buttons and buttonholes, examining, shaping and examining, instructors, morrow- ing, pinking, pressing, supporters, labels and borings, models, design pairs, cloth stock and stock room; expressly excluding, however, fore- men, watchmen, firemen, carpenters, cafe employees, machinists, print- ers, janitors, elevator boys, supervisors, truck driver, and such employ- ees as are probational and temporary, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, Local No. 318, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining-in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
