Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on December 21, 1939, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massachusetts). On December 22, 1939, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, issued and duly served upon the Wilton Worsted Workers Associa- tion and the Company his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 33. 2830P,0-41 -vol. 19--21 309 310 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Wilton Worsted Workers Association has been selected by a majority of the production and maintenance em- ployees of Abbott Worsted Mills , Inc., Wilton, New Hampshire, includ- ing the painter, yard helper, office cleaner , and the clerks who assist the designer, but excluding overseers and office employees , as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining , and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Wilton Worsted Workers Association is the exclusive bargaining representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages , hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
